How to set up Outlook 2003

Setup Outlook 2003 with Gmail - This tutorial will teach you how to setup your Gmail email account with Outlook 2003. How to configure Gmail in Outlook 2003.

Microsoft Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office, if you don't have it then you should install it or use free alternatives like Mozilla Thunderbird.


These email settings are also available for other devices like PC, Mac, Iphone, etc. Just choose your option in our menu.


How to configure Gmail in Outlook 2003

Open Outlook 2003

If this is the first time
you open Outlook 2003 since its install, a window will immediately pop up asking you to setup your email account. Click yes and proceed. Now you will only need to read this tutorial from  here *

If this is not the first time you open Outlook 2003, no setup window will pop up.
To setup a new email account just click on Tools and select E-mail Accounts like in the following picture.

The E-mail Accounts wizard will open
Select Add a new e-mail account
Click Next

* A new window will open to select the Server Type
Select POP3
Click Next

A new window will open to setup your Internet E-mail Settings (POP3).


You will need to enable POP in Gmail:
1 - Log in to Gmail
2 - Click on the Configuration button at the top of the page
3 - Select Settings
4 - Select Forwarding and POP/IMAP
5 - Enable POP and select what you wish to occur wen accessing POP emails.


Now imagine this is you:

Your name: Peter Smith

Your email: petersmith@gmail.com


Insert your data as the following picture:

Click Next and you're donne.
Set up your email on other devices:
